Welcome @ rc-plane-guide
Introduction: Radio controlled model planes have been a dream that previously required a lot of dedication and a large wallet. This have however changed in recent years, due to technological advances making it possible to produce advanced electronics, kits and simulators at an affordable price. Many products are designed such that you can use them in narrow spaces like backyards and school gyms. Building models that are capable of flying in narrow spaces have the advance that we can extend our hobby to a year round funtime activity. Flying indoor with an helicopter or foam plane is just as much fun as flying a big gas powered plane. In addition this is a hobby that almost everyone can afford. Take a look at the shock flyer from ikarus shown below:
This model is extremely fun to fly while it is affordable and easy to build. It is however not a beginners rc model plane due to the large size of the control surfaces. The large control surfaces in combination with a hot brushless motor makes this plane a true 3D capable aircraft.
These pages are however also meant to be a guide for the experienced modeller, who likes to see reviews of models before actually buying them. Reviews will cover everything from foamy flyers to big brushless motors for models weighing tens of pounds.
If you have a topic that you think we should cover at these web-pages, do not hesitate to contact us at the email address given below. We are more than eager to provide reviews and news on the newest trends in radio control modelling.
